Google Desktop 2.0 For Windows

Google has updated its Desktop application culminating in its version 2.0 release. Migrating from its usual home on the Internet onto our Desktops. For non-Mac users, or more precisely non-Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger users (without Spotlight) Google Desktop 2.0 heaps pressure on Microsoft to release its much awaitedLonghorn operating system.

Google Desktop 2.0 now available only for Windows operating systems, purports to mirror the ease and convenience already built into all Mac OS X 10.4 enabled-systems with the advent of its Spotlight technology. Adding similar features, whilst integrating access to Google’s already feature rich Internet offerings, into the global Windows install base.
