12″ & 14″ iBooks Given A Boost

Even the iBooks have gone supernova these days with Apple’s latest re-introduction of these popular entry level portable Macs. The range has now been limited to 2 default models; one for each sized iBook with more bang for your buck.

Both models now include hard drives that are protected by Apple’s Sudden Motion Sensor system, built-in Airport Extreme and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and Apple’s new scrolling trackpad. Both come powered by an ATI Radeon 9550 graphics processor with 32MB of dedicated video memory and AGP 4x support for dazzling 3D graphics that bring games to life.

The 12″ iBook Combo Drive model now comes with a 1.33GHz PowerPC G4 processor and 40GB hard drive whilst the 14″ iBook SuperDrive model is now offered with a 1.42GHz PowerPC processor and 60GB hard drive.
