Greater Phone Support With iSync 2.1

Consumers who have been using the latest cell phones, such as the Nokia 7610 have been waiting for this day. Previous versions of iSync had limited cell phone support but Nokia 7610 users can now look forward to syncing their 7610 with their Mac seamlessly.

Before syncing occurs with the 7610 an ‘iSync Agent’ is uploaded via Bluetooth to your 7610. Once that is completed the magic happens.

Its advised to backup your contacts on your 7610 either to your SIM card or by other means. This should also be similarly carried out on your Mac’s Address Book and iCal. In so doing, if something goes wrong during your virgin run syncing your cell phone to your Mac, you can always revert either device.

The only other caveat in all of this, is iSync v.2.1 requires Mac OS X Tiger to run.

In 1978, founders Matt and Hendricks were looking for a tech event to showcase their new startup. When they couldn’t find one that checked all the boxes they decided to host their own. As they were organizing things, they soon realized they needed somewhere to promote the conference, and that’s how newsweb.com was launched. It later became a blog and the result is what you are looking at right now.
