iPod Music Store Music Videos Online Sales Soon?

The Wall Street Journal, recently busted Apple’s latest industry shaker wide open. Apple has been reported to be in talks with major recording companies in efforts to procure licenses to sell music videos online via the iTunes Music Store (ITM).

The logical conclusion is the suggestion of video capable iPods on the horizon. Effectively, giving other compact players like the Sony PSP a run for their money. The main concern, with the slew of new compact devices capable of more and more features, is battery life.

Until new, commercially affordable, battery technologies become available the feasibility of compact portable multimedia devices will constantly be in question. Although, Apple appears to be progressing on the path to digital independance, we will just have to wait and see what the future holds for a pure portable digital lifestyle.
