Public Appeal, Kim Hagen Needs Your Help

This post comes under dire times. A friend of one of our readers met with an accident whilst out skateboarding. If you have a moment, please read and see if you can help. Even if its a USD$1.

Excerpt from www.bringkimback.com press release:

“On August 14th she didn’t see him coming…..

Kim Hagen, a local San Diego performing arts choreographer was struck by a car while skateboarding in Eugene, Oregon on Monday August 14th, 2006. She is listed in VERY critical condition at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Due to a poorly lit and very confusing intersection, neither Kim or the driver saw each other coming.

Since Kim has been in the hospital her web site has received over 7500 hits, and continues to be viewed daily by the world she help inspire. Sacred Heart has set up a patient email program where friends and family can send emails to patients that are forced to remain in their bed . Thus far Kim has received over 600 emails sent to the hospital.

Kim has been involved in the San Diego arts community since the year 2000, and has brought joy and inspirations to thousands of people worldwide. Due to her athletic physique, not a single bone on her body was broken in the impact. This was one of the reasons why Dr. Miller decided to proceed with the surgeries on Kim’s brain.

After performing several extensive brain surgeries to help reduce the swelling, she remains in a coma. It has now been 15 days since the accident and we are all just waiting and hoping that she will wake up. Kim is fighting with all she has to come back , but she still needs your help. We are simply asking that you send positive energy and a small donation to help Kim with her medical bills. The costs to bring Kim back are estimated to be near 1 million dollars when it’s all said and done. We will be holding several fundraisers in the near future, as we are now in the pre-planning stages. Any help with donations, ideas, etc, can be emailed to bringkimback@gmail.com.

FOR NOW PLEASE VISIT WWW.BRINGKIMBACK.COM for further details of her condition and procedures. Please feel free to keep checking in as it is updated daily.”

“Get well soon Kim,… our well wishes and prayers go with you from MacRiot.” To the rest, thank you for reading.
